Katherine Hostel is located in Katherine in the Northern Territory. Its Manager leads a staff of approximately 20 individuals, including Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurses, Support Workers, Lifestyle Coordinator, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Clerical and Catering staff.

The facility was established by the Katherine branch of the Australian Red Cross to provide care for elderly people who otherwise would be forced to leave their home and move away to receive care. Frontier Services became the approved provider in 2010 following the withdrawal of Red Cross.

The service provides care for 30 residents. There is a multi-cultural group of residents.
