Charleville Early Learning Centre

Charleville, Queensland.

The Charleville Early Learning Centre aims to serve the children and parents/guardians of this isolated rural region by providing care for children six weeks to 12 years of age on an occasional, part-time or full-time basis. This 42-place centre in Charleville (approximately 750 kilometres south-west of Brisbane) provides long day care for babies through to five year olds and an out-of-school hours care program for local students.

Each program aims to recognise the variety of individual physical, intellectual, social, emotional and cultural needs from a diverse range of family units and backgrounds, endeavouring to provide support to families for a variety of health, work and social reasons.

The service is provided by a Centre Director and a full complement of Early Childhood trained child care staff. Service charges are based on the family allowance from Centrelink received by the client family.

Frontier Services has been providing this service to the community of Charleville since 2009.
