The service is managed by a Regional Coordinator with part-time administration support and is based in Charleville.
The service is delivered to the district around Charleville and provides assistance in the establishment of family day care services in rural and remote areas, along with assisting in the promotion of a uniform approach to child and family issues, providing support to newly established Family Day Care Services, and to assist Family Day Care providers with the implementation of the Child Care Accreditation System.
The Charleville and District Family Day Care is supported by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and was transferred to Frontier Services in 2009, along with the Charleville Early Learning Centre, where it is located.
