East Kimberley Ministry

Kununurra, Western Australia

The East Kimberley Patrol is based in Kununurra , WA .

The patrol work is extended towards more than 50 pastoral contacts in the region. The northern boundary of the patrol is the coastline of the Joseph Boneparte Gulf , and southwards, the Great Sandy Desert .

The eastern boundary is the Bullo River Stations and Amanbidgi community on the Victoria Highway , the Limbunya and Riveren Stations on the Buntine Highway , and the WA/NT borders on the Tanami Road . The western boundary is the Fitzroy Crossing on the Great Northern Highway , the Lansdowne, Tablelands and Marion Downs Stations on the Springvale-Lansdowne Road , and the Gibb River Road , intersecting with Kalumburu Road .

The East Kimberley Region includes a 50/50 partnership with the Kununurra Congregation which means time-wise it is equally shared between "town ministry" and patrol work.
