Six Community Aged Care Packages (CACPs) commenced in 2002 to provide care and assistance to people living at home within the Old Timers Village.

The purpose of the Community Care project is to assist in maintaining residents lifestyle choices. It has grown steadily since and now provides 45 packages including CACP, HACC, Consumer Directed Care and supporting veterans in and around the Alice Springs region.
