While ministry has long been established in the area, this is a new patrol in partnership with the Gippsland Presbytery which began in January 2008.

The region associated with the Snowy River Patrol includes Bemm River, Marlo Plains, Cape Conran and up the Bonang Highway and associated areas including Bonang, Bendoc, Tubbut and Buchan.

The main congregation is at Orbost.

A new Patrol Minister will commence in 2012.

The ministry presents an opportunity to visit widely in the region and make many meaningful contacts in the smaller communities that characterise the region, providing encouragement and support and a genuine hand of friendship.
